Elegant New England Wedding at the Commander’s Mansion

Apr 29, 2024

Whether you’re a born and raised New Englander or a seasonal visitor, you can’t deny the magic of a garden on a historical property. Everyone loves a secret garden, no? The New England wedding venue scene is abundant with historical houses. They often add a level of elegance, whimsy, romance, and root your day just enough to frame your joy and celebration. Rebecca and Jake’s wedding at the Commander’s Mansion in Watertown, MA has all of the above plus so much joy and love you can’t help but feel it! You know the phrase twin flames? These two make me believe – you can see their connection at the soul level. Their ceremony so beautifully celebrated not only the journey they took to get to that day, but truly connecting to their families and ancestors before them. Follow their day from getting ready, to first look, to a surprise fire alarm (thanks Watertown FD!), to an emotional ceremony, finishing with a modern and delicious dinner at Branch Line.
